Our Journey

From a Single Needle
to a Thriving Academy

Our academy was founded in 2016 by a master embroiderer with over two decades of experience in Aari and Zardoshi — India's most celebrated hand embroidery arts. What began as small workshops in a home studio has grown into a full-fledged online and offline academy serving students across India and abroad.

We believe that every stitch tells a story. Aari work, with its fine crochet-hook needle and intricate thread patterns, and Zardoshi, with its dazzling gold and silver thread embellishments, are both living inheritances from centuries of Indian craftsmanship.

Our goal has always been twofold: to preserve these arts for future generations, and to give students the skills to build real, sustainable livelihoods from them — whether as boutique designers, home-based artisans, teachers, or studio entrepreneurs.

Today, our graduates work for bridal couture houses, run their own labels, teach embroidery, and sell handcrafted products worldwide. Their success is our greatest achievement.

What We Specialize In

The Arts We Teach

🪡

Aari Embroidery

A distinctive Indian technique using a hooked needle (aari) to create intricate chain stitches, filling patterns, and delicate motifs on fabric stretched over a frame. Widely used in bridal wear, dupattas, and home furnishings.

Zardoshi Work

An ancient goldwork embroidery using real or synthetic gold and silver threads, sequins, beads, and wires. Zardoshi adorns India's finest lehengas, sarees, sherwanis, and couture garments with opulent metallic brilliance.

📿

Embroidery Jewellery

A modern fusion craft — applying Aari techniques to create wearable jewellery pieces including earrings, necklaces, maang tikkas, and bracelets. A rapidly growing niche with excellent commercial potential.

🎨

Design & Digital

Modern embroidery professionals need digital skills too. We teach Canva for marketing, Procreate for pattern design, and traditional sketching — bridging ancient craft with contemporary business needs.

📐

Pattern Sheets & Books

Learn to create professional design sheets, pattern libraries, and client presentation books — essential tools for running a successful embroidery studio or teaching practice.

✏️

Sketching & Training

The foundation of all great embroidery design is a confident hand sketch. Our sketching classes develop motif-drawing ability, proportion sense, repeat-pattern skills, and fabric transfer techniques.

03

Career-Ready Skills

We do not just teach craft — we teach business. From professional-level production to digital design and client presentation, our curriculum prepares students to earn from their art.

04

Warm, Supportive Community

Every student joins a WhatsApp community of fellow learners and graduates. We believe learning embroidery is best done together — sharing inspiration, asking questions, and celebrating progress.
